Keep your OSCEs running

eSystem’s Remote OSCE module provides a flexible alternative solution for Life Science and Medical institutions to in-person OSCEs.

Offering all of the benefits of streamlined processes and reduced complexity when creating and running OSCEs, but, without the need for physical stations and locations.

The intuitive interface means it’s easy to use for all involved. And in-built video integration means there’s no need for third-party video software. Candidates, Examiners and Simulated Patients simply access the remote OSCE from their own setting.

Virtual OSCEs save time, money on travel and provide a robust alternative to in-person OSCEs in some circumstances.

All participants are provided with instructions upon entry to the exam. If there are images, these can be shared, for example, if a candidate wants to highlight an area of an X-ray. Examiners record candidate marks on the examiner mark sheets available in their station.

At the end of the station time, candidates are automatically moved to the next station in the circuit. Examiners and Simulated Patients remain in their station, waiting for the next candidate to join.

Post exam, run analysis and export reports to assess performance and gain insight into your exams.

USE THE eSYSTEM FOR REMOTE OSCE EXAMS

Be confident you can run practical exams remotely from any location with eSystem’s remote OSCE module.

RUNNING REMOTE OSCES

Running a virtual OSCE couldn't be simpler, explore how eSystem's remote OSCE module makes it possible to run some OSCE and MMI exams remotely, from any location.

    • ALLOWS REMOTE OSCEs
TO BE RUN FROM ANY LOCATION

Video capability is fully integrated into the eSystem. No need to use third-party video software to run a remote OSCE exam.

Allows multiple users to be present and communicate simultaneously from different locations.

    • EASY TO USE
      FOR ALL EXAM PARTICIPANTS

All remote OSCE participants are provided with instructions once they enter the exam.

Examiners are able to view instructions for all exam participants (Candidate, Simulated patient etc)

Examiners and Simulated Patients remain in their allocated station. Candidates are automatically moved around stations until they have completed the circuit and finished the exam.

    • CONFIDENCE YOUR EXAMS
      ARE RUNNING SMOOTHLY

Whilst the Virtual OSCE is running, it’s possible to see who is connected, check that examiners are filling in mark sheets, monitor the help feature for problems, send messages to all or some of the participants and see an overview of the timing for each circuit.

In addition, it’s possible to allow observers to the exam, to check that it’s all running correctly

    • SUPPORT FOR MULTIPLE
      EXAMINERS PER STATION

Each remote OSCE station can have more than one examiner if required.

    • Support for sharing images

Images can be shared within the station. Useful if a candidate or simulated patient wants to highlight an area on an X-ray for example
